A New Chapter

Chris left us a little cliff hanger with his last post…and no, Becky, Lucy didn’t get her Ph.D. but good guess!

Lucy is going to preschool!  She’s enrolled, her first months’ tuition is paid, and soon, they will have every contact number, tid bit of medical history, food allergy, and signature they could possibly want.  

We are SO excited.  Lucy will attend North Creek Preschool twice a week starting in August.  I’m confident she is going to LOVE it – the projects, the friends, the playtime, the learning…it’s just what she’s been needing.  But mostly, we are so grateful that she will be attending a Christian school.  That has been something both Chris and I have truly desired for our kids, and we thank God that He is providing for that.  Chris and I are both products of Christian education and feel that it was instrumental in the development of our faith – and we want nothing more than to set our children up to grow in both knowledge and wisdom while growing up in faith.  

I have to admit, I did get a little sad when I realized that this is the end of one chapter – a chapter in Lucy’s life that has been entirely focused on being at home with mom and dad – and that we are loosing a little bit of our family scheduling freedom .  But we couldn’t be more happy for her and all that she will soon experience.
